DESCRIPTION

NASO B12 contains Methylcobalamin which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-anemic agent. It is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency in adults. Deficiency of vitamin B12 may lead to decreased red blood cell formation (anemia), nerve pain and pain in extremities. It can also be used as a maintenance therapy in adults with pernicious anemia who are in remission following intramuscular vitamin B12 therapy and who have no nervous system involvement. Prior to the treatment, your doctor might recommend you take blood test pertaining to hematocrit, reticulocyte count, vitamin B12, folate and iron levels. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your condition.
